Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
The ggsay app runs fully on your machine and sends nothing to us. This website uses Google Analytics to see which pages people read and which buttons they click. If you email us, we keep your address to reply.
The ggsay app
The free desktop app stores all settings in a local SQLite file on your computer. During normal use it makes no network calls and sends no telemetry, usage data, or chat content anywhere. If a future Pro tier offers cloud sync, it will be off by default and require you to turn it on.
This website
ggsay.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Server logs collected by Cloudflare (IP addresses, timestamps, user-agents) are retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors read and which buttons they click. GA4 sets cookies and processes pseudonymized data — approximate location (country / city), device, referrer, and page views. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage. We don't sell or share this data. You can block it with any browser privacy extension or by declining cookies in your browser.
Your rights
If you're in the EU (GDPR), the UK, California (CCPA), or any jurisdiction with similar rules, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Most analytics questions are answered by clearing cookies. For anything we can help with directly, email us.
Changes to this policy
If we change something material, we'll update the date above. Earlier versions live in the ggsay.com git history on GitHub.
